Abstract

Ground water is water that is contained in the soil layer or rocks that are below the ground surface and has an important role for humans. The environmental conditions of densely populated areas can affect the quality of groundwater. The purpose of this study were to determine the direction of groundwater flow, the physical and chemical quality of groundwater, the geochemical characteristics and to determine the condition of the basin. The parameters tested were temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), electrical conductivity, degree of acidity (pH). There were 27 samples for groundwater observation, of which 22 samples were dug wells and 5 samples were bore wells. The temperature ranges from 27ºC - 30.5ºC, the TDS value ranges from 37.2 - 2535 mg / L, the DHL value ranges from 16.68 μS / m - 47.22 μS / m, and the pH value ranges from 5.26 - 6.02. The results of the groundwater facies analysis based on the Kurlov classification method, the Stiff diagram and the Piper diagram show 5 groups of groundwater facies, namely: the Ca (Mg) Cl (SO4) facies group which fills in the eastern part of the study area, the Na (K) Cl (SO4) facies group which filling in the northwest to the south of the study area, the Cl + SO4 facies group which fills in the southwest to the northeast of the study area, the Na (K) HCO3 facies group which fills in the southwest to the south of the study area and the Na + K facies group which fills in the southern part of the research area. There were 2 types of groundwater basins, the first was in the southern part of the research area with MAT -9.1 meters BKS 1 (T2) and MAT -5 meters BKS 7 (T3), the second was in the northeast part of the research area with MAT 1.7 meters on BKS 20 (T1).
