Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determined whether there is a relationship of discipline learning and way of learning methods with biology learning outcomes class XI MIPA in SMA 2 Siak Hulu based on the level of academic ability in the academic year 2019/2020. The research wa conducted from November until Desember 2019. The study was correlational and data correlation using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The sampel in this research as many as 80 student with different level of academic ability. Analysis of the data in this study using correlation analysis Person Product Moment. The results showed that for high academic, learnig discipline (X1) the learning method (X2) with biology learning outcomes (Y) there is a high relationship (0,716). For medium academic, learnig discipline (X1) the learning method (X2) with biology learning outcomes (Y) there is a high relationship (0,627). For low academic, learnig discipline (X1) the learning method (X2) with biology learning outcomes (Y) there is a high relationship (0,770). For significant test score showed that for high academic, learning discipline (X1) the learning method (X2) with biology learning outcomes (Y) thitung (3,86) > ttabel (2,06). For medium academik, learning discipline (X1) the learning method (X2) with biology learning outcomes (Y) thitung (4,18) > ttabel (2,04). For low academic, learning discipline (X1) the learning method (X2) with biology learning outcomes (Y) thitung (5,65) > ttabel (2,06).
