Abstract

The Effect of Pair Check Learning Model Against Student X Learning Results in Pekanbaru Vocational School Academic Year 2019/2020 Bunga Rahmadhani Febianingrum NPM. 156411230 Essay. Mathematics Education Study Program. FKIP Islamic University of Riau. Mentor: Aulia Sthephani, M.Pd. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of Pair Check learning model on students' mathematical results. This research was conducted at SMK HASANAH Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school years. The population in this study were all students of class X SMK HASANAH Pekanbaru, while the sample in this study was class X TKJ 1 and X TSM 1, totalling 38 students. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. The research instruments used in this study were test sheets and observation sheets. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Pair Check learning model can have a significant influence on student mathematics learning outcomes. This is based on the Mann-Whitney test analysis of student learning outcomes in the experimental and control classes. Based on the Mann-Whitney test obtained the significance of learning outcomes data is Z_count = -2.23 and Z_tabel = 1.96, so Z_count <-Z_table then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the Pair Check learning model on student learning outcomes.
