Abstract

This study aims to determine how the teaching of cultural arts (zapin rupture dance) in class X IPA 1 MAN 3 Kampar, Kampar kecamatan, Kampar district, Riau province, 2019/2020 academic year. The material to be taught is the variety of zapin break dance movements. The theory in this research is Suryosubroto's theory which from this theory has the following components: curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans, facilities and infrastructure, methods, evaluation. This research methodology uses descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The subjects in this study were 27 students of class X IPA 1 and 1 teacher of cultural arts, MAN 3 Kampar. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted by the author with the cultural arts teacher that MAN 3 Kampar uses the 2013 curriculum.The method commonly used by cultural arts teachers is conventional, namely face to face in the classroom, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process becomes limited and does not allow students to learn as usual in the classroom with that learning is temporarily transferred to their respective homes by using the e-learning method (online / online learning system). In the online learning system, this is a little different from usual because the RRP used is still the old RPP, but the government has given responsibility to schools to restructure learning methods during this online learning. The government has also given responsibility to schools to reconstruct the curriculum used in accordance with the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the assessment system still the same, the assessment criteria are attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, skills assessment.
