Abstract
Local languages are everyday languages used by people to communicate with each other. The title of this research is "Reduplication of Bugis Language, Bone dialect, Tagaraja Village, Kateman District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) What is the form of reduplication of the Bugis dialect of Bone, Tagaraja sub-district, Kateman district, Indragiri Hilir district (2) What is the meaning of the Bugis reduplication of Bone dialect in Tagaraja sub-district, Kateman sub-district, Indragiri Hilir district? Based on the formulation of the problem, this study aims (1) To identify, analyze, identify the Bugis language form of Bone dialect, Tagaraja sub-district, Kateman district, Indragiri Hilir district (2) To identify, analyze, identify the meaning of the Bugis language in Bone dialect, Tagaraja sub-district, Kateman sub-district, Indragiri Hilir district . This study uses the theory of Charlina and Sinaga (2007: 37) saying "Reduplication is a repetition of grammatical units, either whole or in part, either in combination with affixes or not, with variations of phonemes or not. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data collection technique was carried out using descriptive methods. The techniques used are observation, interviews and fishing rods. The technical data in this study is to translate the local language obtained into Indonesian, classify the data that has been obtained based on the problems studied, then the data that has been classified or grouped are then analyzed according to the theory. From the research results found the form and meaning of reduplication of the Bugis language dialect bone, namely there are four kinds of reduplication of the Bugis language dialect of Bone, Tagaraja, Kateman District, Indragiri Hilir Regency and ten meanings of reduplication of Bugis language in Bone dialect, Tagaraja, Kateman, Indragiri Hilir regency.
