Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity level of the development of learning media based on video animation Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects on Bioprocess in Cells in Biology Learning for Class XI students at 3 SMA in Duri Academic Year 2019/2020 using the ADDIE:model. Analyze (analysis), Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). However, in this study the researcher only carried out the Analyze stage to thestage Development . Determination of the sample using online trials, and the total sample of 10 students from 3 different schools, namely SMA Negeri 2 Mandau, SMA Negeri 3 Mandau, and SMA Negeri 8 Mandau. The data obtained in the development of instructional media based on video animation Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects is by validating Learning media to material experts, media experts in the field of technology and media experts in the field of learning, as well as seeing students' responses to learning media developed by conducting trials. limited use of the online validation sheet. The data analysis technique used the Likert scale method. The results of this study are in the form of instructional media products in the form of animated videos. The results of validation by material experts show that the learning media developed are very valid / very suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 91.6%. The results of validation by technology media experts show that the learning media developed are very valid / very suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 92.2%. The results of validation by instructional media experts show that the learning media developed is very valid / very suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 84.9%. This developed learning media received very good responses from the Biology teacher and students. This can be seen from the response of the Biology Teacher with an average percentage of 95.2% and students with an average percentage of 91.4%. Based on the results of the validation from the experts, it was found that video-based learning media products were very valid / very suitable for use in the learning process.
