Abstract

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, all teachers received a policy to teach online. In the initial process of using online media in the online learning system, there were quite a number of obstacles and limitations, such as the limitations of students to provide IT-based electronic media ( information technology ) which became a media facility in the learning process, as well as the location of student residences that were not strategic enough to obtain information. communication network. For this reason, teachers are required to have a higher fighting power in nurturing students during a pandemic like today. This study aims to find out how the description of the fighting power of teachers in online learning during the pandemic. This research is quantitative descriptive. This research was conducted using a scale measuring instrument adapted and modified from previous research conducted by Herawati (2013) which was compiled based on the theory proposed by Stoltz (2000). The population of this study were teachers in SMA "X" and SMK "Y" in one area in Lubuk Jambi, amounting to 83 people. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics with portrait data analysis techniques. The results showed that the level of fighting power of the teachers of SMAN "X" and SMKN "Y" in one area of Lubuk Jambi belonged to the low category as many as 28 people out of 83 teachers or 33.73%.
