Abstract
Based on the results of the author, the authors in this chapter draw some conclusions and in addition they will receive suggestions to add input for those who are interested and needed. The conclusions of this study are: 1. In the role of the HIV / AIDS Commission (KPA), Pekanbaru City is not running optimally, because there are still many people who do not have information about HIV / AIDS Prevention, Control and Transmission. 2. In the role of the AIDS Commission (KPA), it is inextricably linked to the obstacles that influence the course of the role of the AIDS Commission (KPA) in the implementation of the prevention and prevention of HIV / AIDS, among others: a. The minimum budget that the AIDS Commission (KPA) receives from the government to carry out HIV / AIDS prevention and control activities. b. Inadequate human resources (SDM) to perform the correct functions of the KPA c. The lack of role of the AIDS Prevention Commission (KPA) in providing information about prevention, control, transmission and the impact and consequences of HIV / AIDS to the general public.
