Abstract
PERFORMANCE AND ECONOMIC DETERMINATION OF BULLHEAD ACIDIZING, SHORT CYCLIC STIMULATION AND REGULAR CYCLIC STIMULATION IN HEAVY OIL FIELD USING DECLINE CURVE ANALYSIS METHOD FAJAR MANFALUTHI 153210861 ABSTRACT F Field area M has carried out various types of well stimulation work, including bullhead acidizing, short cyclic stimulation and regular cyclic stimulation. From some of these works, it is necessary to carry out an analysis to see which well stimulation is the most economical to be applied in the field. In order to determining the performance of stimulation in F field area M, the researcher used the declince curve analysis method where this method can be used to see the oil recovery for each of the stimulation methods applied. In addition, determining the economic value is the priority in the success of a stimulation application that is held in this field. From the decline curve analysis and economic calculations, the results obtained for each stimulation work where bullhead acidizing has an average oil gain for each job of 218 bbl with a benefit to cost of 2.7 and a pay out time of 0.2 months, while for short cyclic stimulation has an average oil gain for each job of –329 bbl with a benefit to cost -21 anf for regular cyclic stimulation has an average oil recovery for each job of 167 bbl with a benefit to cost of 5.2 and a pay out time of 0.03 months. From the decline curve analysis and economic calculations, it can be seen that regular cyclic stimulation is the most economical stimulation carried out in the F field area M.
