Abstract
Agro-tourism is a combination of tourism and agriculture where visitors can visit gardens, farms or to buy products that have been produced, enjoy performances, take part in farmers' activities, or spend the night together in an agricultural area. Bungaraya Subdistrict has a variety of potential for agrotourism to become a tourist destination if managed properly will bring benefits. However, in Bungaraya District, there is no mapping of agrotourism distribution which has a role for visitors to know the full potential. So this study aims to a). assessment of agrotourism potential and mapping of the distribution of agrotourism in Bungaraya District. b). Formulate the development of agro-tourism in the District of Bungaraya. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis method. Data collection techniques using the observation method were used to identify the type of agrotourism potential as well as its distribution, institutional methods and interview methods to find out the problems studied and then analyzed using the analysis of logical framework analysis (LFA). The results of this study found that there are six types of agrotourism potential in Bungaraya Subdistrict: agricultural agro-tourism potential with a value of 22 (twenty two), ornamental plants in the potential category with a value of 24 (twenty four), potential category of food crops with a value of 27 (twenty seven), potential fisheries category with a value of 25 (twenty-five), potential category livestock with a value of 21 (twenty one), and forestry potential category with a value of 25 (twenty five). From the mapping of the potential of agrotourism, the map of the distribution of agro-tourism is obtained. The resulting strategy consists of developing agro-tourism support facilities, aspects of public infrastructure, transportation aspects and attractiveness aspects.
