Abstract
The background of this research is the problem of the development of the technopolitan area in Pelalawan Regency, Langgam District. Trying to find out the implementation of the Pelalawan Regency policy in the development of the technopolitan region, knowing the development of the technopolopoly area that has been carried out, as well as the strategy of handling carried out in the implementation of the Pelalawan Regency technopolitical area. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of policies in techno-political development as well as to know the development of technopolitical areas and strategies for handling in the development of techno-political areas. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of the study explained the implementation of the technopolitical area was supported by policies that had been formed and made by the Pelalawan District government. In its development, the techno-political area has developed an education and research area, where in the development of the area, the assistance is assisted by PPKS Medan in the establishment of superior oil palm seedlings and oil palm clinics. So that the strategy used for sustainable techno-political development is the implementation of R&D, the selection of this strategy is based on the potential superior communities that exist in the technopolitic region, the leading community can increase regional income, regional development can increase employment, and the national economy that produces innovation through technology modern.
