Abstract

Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) is one of the technological developments by the oil industry to increase oil recovery in reservoirs. The selection of the appropriate EOR (EOR Screening) method applied to a field is an in-depth study of existing data to characterize the reservoir in detail as a depiction of oil potential that is still done manually. To facilitate the determination of the correct EOR method, this research builds a simulation system based on fuzzy logic using the Java programming language that can help and facilitate the user (engineer reservoir) in determining the screening evaluation of the EOR method to improve oil production results. In this study, the input criteria used were Nine (9) criteria and for the output criteria (EOR method) that were produced, which were seven (7) by displaying the highest calculation results of the EOR method. Testing the accuracy of this fuzzy logic based simulation system is 75% and the results of the implementation of this system are with a percentage value of 65.6% so that this simulation system can be applied.
