Abstract
In today's era, learning using the internet is very much needed, when faceto-face learning cannot be done by lecturers, a forum is needed where lecturers and students can still do learning even though they are not facing to face. The Faculty of Law, Islamic University of Riau, wants to include blended learning in the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) for each subject in the law faculty. This study aims to build a blended learning application that is following the national standards of higher education in Indonesia to find out how effective learning is using blended learning applications at the Faculty of Law, Islamic University of Riau. Blended learning can be used by lecturers and students to substitute virtual face-to-face with an online learning system, discuss using Pusher channels to chat in real-time, and take quizzes or exams online. The result of this research is that this application is effective with a percentage of 77% for use at the Faculty of Law, Islamic University of Riau. To discuss, there is a limit of 100 users if you connect simultaneously and can send 200,000 messages per day.
