Abstract

Growth is an anabolic process, namely the increase in the number of cells in the human body that can be measured such as body length, weight, teeth and physical function. While development is the process of differentiation of body cells, body tissues, which then form organs with complex functions, including the development of emotions, intelligence, behavior in interaction with their environment. To determine growth in toddlers, body measurements can be carried out, known as anthropometry. Anthropometric size indicators are used as the main criteria for assessing the growth of toddlers. Meanwhile, to determine the development of toddlers using the Denver Developmental Screening Test (DDST) which has 4 aspects, namely personal social development, fine motor skills, language and gross motor skills. The method of tracking the growth and development of toddlers uses CBR (case based reasoning) while to find solutions and provide solutions from the use of growth and development of toddlers using the cosine similarity method. To make it easier for users, the system is made on a web-based basis. Based on the results of the implementation of the system, it was found that the value of the questionnaire results was 82.3% indicating that this expert system was able to determine finding solutions and providing solutions from the use of the toddler growth monitoring system.
