Abstract

The research area in geographically is located at coordinates of 0° 21’ 12" - 0° 22’ 50" north latitude and 101° 24’ 40" - 101° 26’ 20" east longitude. Research is located in the village of Pinang and surroundings, Perhentian Raja sub-district, Kampar district. The research purpose is to analyze, grouping, and manifestations the surface that found in area village of Pinang and surroundings, knowing the physical and chemical properties of quarter precipitate in research area based on granulometry and xrf analysis, and knowing the distribution of quarter precipitate and mineral that contained in them. The method that used in research is location survey, then doing sieve analysis granolometry to find out the grain size, as well as doing chemical analysis that is xrf analysis. The distribution of grain size has peat grain size until silt that gained from taking 8 samples in reserarch area and minerals contained in research area from taking 5 samples is gained Silica, Aluminium/Corondum, Hematite/Iron Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, and Kalium Oxide. The potency of research area in the form of Silica mineral and Aluminium Oxide can be used us industrial material.
