Abstract
Water is a natural resource that has an important role in various aspects of social life, including in determining the quality and sustainability of human life, and environmental development. The content of chemicals in water affects the suitability of water users. Water quality includes 3 characteristics namely physics, chemistry and biology. Water quality illustrates the suitability or suitability of water for certain users, for example: bath water, drinking water, fisheries, irrigation / irrigation, industry, recreation and so on. In making this dug well water quality estimation system used the Multiple Linear Regression method. To make it easier to determine the results of well water quality estimation based on water taste classification. The variables or indicators used in this study are temperature, pH, EC and taste. For indicators of temperature, EC and taste are physical parameters while pH is a chemical indicator. taste of water has 3 classifications which are fresh, brackish and salty. The purpose of this research is to build a system that can determine the quality of dug well water. This system is implemented with a web programming language with PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and uses a MySQL database.
