Abstract

The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of the Riau Islamic University (UIR) is an Educational Personnel Education Institution (LPTK) which has a central and strategic role in developing Indonesian people as a whole. This is because Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UIR is an educational institution producing teacher candidates or prospective education personnel who will later be tasked with educating and educating the nation's children. The purpose of this research is to make the Augmented Reality of the UIR Faculty of Teacher Training and Education building so that the public / new students can see the building well and clearly and are more interesting and interactive. This application uses using the Kudan Library sdk which is able to display 3D buildings from each faculty building and science education in the Islamic University of Riau with markerless techniques in the form of Augmented Reality. The final results of this study are applications that can be run on smartphones with the Android operating system. Based on the test results on this application, it is known that this application can display 3D Animation of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Building of the Islamic University of Riau at a distance of 10Cm so that it gets good and optimal results and can also be used in various camera angles. After evaluating the application, 100% of the correspondents stated that the application was good, then this application could be used as a medium for the introduction of the teacher and education faculty building of the Riau Islamic University.
