Abstract
This study aims to see the relationship between social support and psychological well-being in prisoners in prison (inmates) at the Pekanbaru detention center. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between social support and psychological well-being in correctional inmates (inmates) at the Pekanbaru detention center. The population in this study was 1,293 Correctional Inmates (WBP) in the Pekanbaru Rutan. The number of samples in this study was determined based on Isaac and Michael's table, taking a sample of 10%, the sample in this study was 225 samples. The analysis technique in this study uses the specification of statistical analysis techniques. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between social support and psychological well-being. The significance result is 0.000 (Sig. 0.05), the data lies in the value (0.982 > 0.005). Based on these results, the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
