Abstract

The village of Hulu Teso is a village that was awarded the construction of a dam in the past. In the management of dams in the past as fisheries power but no longer functioned. The dam is only used as a place of recreation at this time. Based on a survey carried out by the author in 2019, dams like Doranan can be used more effectively as clean water resources or raw water reserves. Based on a survey of upstream villages, Teso had experienced a long dry season which resulted in drought in their wells. Based on these problems the authors are interested in conducting research related to the supply of clean water resources. The research method used is qualitative and descriptive, namely by collecting population data and observing the location of the study and measuring and documenting the location. The results of the study concluded that to obtain a source of clean water as a raw water reserve was carried out screening on dam runoff water, a runway was constructed to build a water filter to purify water after a planned filtration system on runoff was calculated by the population and water requirements needed so that it could be built water storage reservoir. The results of the research show that domestic and non-domestic needs are as much as 251.371,44 liters. To meet the water demand, a reservoir building with dimensions of 7m x 3m 13m is planned to be obtained, amounting to 273m cubic meters, with a capacity of 273 m 3 being converted into liters totaling 273,000 liters per day. The reservoir capacity is 273,000 liters, which is sufficient for the water needs of the population.
