Abstract

Jalan HR. Soebrantas Panam in Pekanbaru is a very busy route. Along the HR road. Soebrantas was heavily traversed by heavy vehicles because this road was one of the roads that was opened to be crossed by heavy vehicles carrying cargo. This also makes one of the causes of rapid damage to flexible pavements. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of average daily traffic axle load through the asphalt pavement on the HR road. Soebrantas Panam, knows the effect of vehicle axle load on the level of road damage on the HR road section. Soebrantas Panam. This research method uses guidelines from Bina Marga Pd 14-14. This research was carried out for 7 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The results of the analysis of average daily traffic on light vehicles such as sedans, oplets, and pickup have a total of 19,085 units, for small buses totaling 53 units, for large buses totaling 78 units, for trucks 2 axles totaling 1208 units, for 3 axles of trucks are 488 units, and for 4 axles there are 99 units. The total LHR from the vehicle analysis results in 21,011 vehicles / day. Based on the calculation of vehicle traffic factors, the total ESAL value is 10.904,893 and the results of Truck Factor calculation 5.823> 1, where the value indicates that the condition of road damage is due to the vehicle load passing on the HR road section. Panam Soebrantas is overloaded. Overload factor that occurs on the HR path. Soebrantas causes 2 types of damage, namely flow distortion with a high level of damage and cracking of crocodiles with a high level of damage.
