Abstract

The accuracy time completion of a project is one aspect that is valued by the costumer, therefore the company should give special attention to the planning and control of project time in order to achieve the target time completion without reducing the quality and workmanship. With a good planning expected that the time completion of a project can be in accordance with the target desire by consumers. Then time purpose of the research is to determine the time and cost of a crash program and to determine the amount of time and cost changes to the project after accelerating the schedule using the overtime method. This research will be conducted on road improvement project sp.Lago – Sorek I Pelalawan Districts. The crashing used in this research is focus on overtime method and use microsoft project. Microsoft project is a project management software program designed to assist project management in developing plans, establishing resources for task, tracking progress, managing budgets and analyzing workloads. From the results obtained, after the project analysis, for 1 hour overtime the duration of project can be accelerated for 14 working days so the duration which originally of 153 working days become 139 working days (down to 9,15%). The direct cost of the project increased from Rp8.337.708.810,24 in 153 days become Rp8.346.020.741,12 in 139 days (up to 0,10%). For the 2 hour overtime project can be accelerated for 20 working days so the duration which originally of 153 working days become 133 working days (down to 13,07%). The direct cost of the project increased from Rp8.337.708.810,24 in 153 days become Rp8.350.722.726,78 in 133 days (up to 0,15%). For the 3 hour overtime project can be accelerated for 30 working days so the duration which originally of 153 working days become 123 working days (down to 19,61%%). The direct cost of the project increased from Rp8.337.708.810,24 in 153 days become Rp8.358.639.083,39 in 123 working days (up to 0,25%).
