Abstract

Application of Chicken Coop Fertilizer and Gandasil-B on Telunjuk Eggplant (Solanum melongena). This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City for four months starting from August to November 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect and the main fertilizer for chicken coop and gandasil B on the index finger eggplant plant. The design used was a completely randomized design consisting of two factors, chicken manure (K) and gandasil B (G) consisting of four levels, so that there were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 of them were used as samples, bringing a total of 192 plants. The data were analyzed statistically and if there was a real difference, it was continued with the Honest Real Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of chicken manure and gandasil B had a significant effect on plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit planted, and longest fruit length per crop. The best treatment was a combination of chicken manure 1 kg / plant and gandasil B 3 g / l water (K2G2). The main effect of chicken manure had a significant effect on all parameters, with the best treatment was giving chicken manure 1 kg / plant (K2). The main effect of double B is a significant effect on all parameters, with the best treatment giving 3 g / l of water (G2).
