Abstract

The Effect of Pineapple Skin and Compost Fertilizer Herbafarm Against Growth and Yield of Purple Cabbage (Brassica oleraceae var L.) This research was conducted at UIRA Farm Agro Faculty Riau Islamic University Agriculture, Jalan Teropong No. 62, Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The study was conducted for four months counting from August to December 2019. Purpose This study was to determine the interaction effect of skin compost pineapple and herbafarm on growth and yield of purple cabbage. This study used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of of 2 factors. The first factor is the provision of pineapple skin compost (K) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 187.5, 375 and 562.5 g / polybag. Second factor namely the provision of herbafarm (H) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 3, 6, and 9 ml / l of water. The parameters observed were the age at which the rolled leaf formed (days), crop diameter (cm), weight of fresh leaves consumed (grams), number of leaves does not form leaf coils that are not dense (strands) and root volume (ml). The results showed that the interaction between pineapple peel and compost herbafarm has a significant effect on crop diameter and leaves that are not forming a crop in purple cabbage. The best treatment is fertilizer pineapple skin compost as much as 562.5 g / polybag (K3H3) and as much herbafarm 9ml / l water water. The main effect of pineapple peel compost has a significant effect on age of formation of leaf rolls, crop diameter, fresh fruit weight, the number of leaves that do not form leaf rolls that are not dense and volume root. The best treatment for pineapple peel compost is 562.5 g / polybag. Influence The main herbafarm has a significant effect on the age at which the leaves are formed rolled, crop diameter, weight of fresh leaves consumed, number of leaves does not form leaf rolls that are not dense and root volume. Treatment best herbafarm 9ml / l water water
