Abstract

Riska Yulia Ningtias Putri (154110221), research with the title Effect of Tea Dregs and Liquid Organic Fertilizer NASA on the Growth and Production of Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. Capitata) under the guidance of Mr. Dr. Ir. T. H. Edy Sabli, M.Si as supervisor I and Mrs. Mardaleni, SP., M.Sc as mentor II. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru from July to October 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of tea dregs and NASA POC on the growth and production of cabbage. This study used a 2 factorial completely randomized design. The main factors were tea dregs 0, 250, 500 and 750 g / plot. The second factor was NASA's POC which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 4, 8 and 12 ml / l so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained. Each treatment combination consisted of 3 replications, so that 48 experimental units (plots) were obtained. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, crop formation age, harvest age, crop diameter, crop weight and crop biomass. The observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between tea dregs and NASA POC was significant on plant height, number of leaves, age of crop formation, harvesting age, crop weight and crop biomass. The best treatment combination was tea dregs 750 g / plot and NASA POC 12 ml / l (T3N3). The main effect of tea dregs was significant on all parameters. The best treatment is tea dregs 750 g / plot. The main effect of NASA's POC was significant for all parameters. The best treatment is NASA POC 12 ml / l (N3).
