Abstract

This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, for four months from June to September 2020. The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of POC on fruits and P fertilizer on the growth and production of gambas. The design used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was the administration of POC of fruits (B) which consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely B0: without giving POC of fruits (control) B1: 10% (10 ml + 90 ml of water)/plant, B2: 20% (20 ml + 80 ml water)/plant, B3: 30% (30 ml + 70 ml water)/plant and the second factor is the application of P (P) fertilizer which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely P0: without P fertilizer, P1: 4 ,5 g/plant, P2: 9 g/plant, P3:13,5 g/plant so that 48 experimental plots were obtained. each plot unit consisted of 4 plants, and 2 plants as samples. Parameters observed were flowering age, harvest age, number of male flowers, number of female flowers, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot, fruit length, and number of remaining fruits. Observational data from each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that the interaction of giving POC fruits and P fertilizer affects the number of male flowers, number of female flowers, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plot, fruit length and number of fruit residues with the best treatment of fruit POC 30% (30 ml + 70 ml water)/plant and fertilizer P 13.5 g/plant. The main effect of POC of real fruits on parameters of flowering age, harvest age, number of male flowers, number of female flowers, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, fruit weight per plot, fruit length and number of fruit residues with the best treatment B3. The main effect of P fertilizer was on the parameters of flowering age, harvest age, number of male flowers, number of female flowers, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, weight of fruit per plot, fruit length and number of fruit residues with the best treatment P3.
