Abstract
research with the title "The Effect of POC Coconut Water and Vermicelli Fertilizer on the Growth of Cacao Plant Seeds (Theobromae cacao.L.)" This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Perhentian Marpoyan, Airingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted for 4 months starting from September to December 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction of coconut water liquid organic fertilizer and vermicompost fertilizer on cocoa plant nurseries. The design used in this study was a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is coconut water POC consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 250, 500 and 750 ml / l water and the second factor is vermicompost fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 50, 100 and 150 g / plant, each treatment consists of 3 repetitions. so that 48 experimental units are obtained. In the experimental unit there were 4 plants and 2 plants used as observation samples taken randomly so that 192 plants were obtained. If F count is greater than F table, then a further test of honest real difference (BNJ) is continued at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that the interaction of POC giving coconut water and vermicompost fertilizer is significant on plant height, number of leaves and root volume, where the best treatment is POC coconut water 750 ml / l water and vermicompost fertilizer 150 g / plant. real coconut water against all observed parameters. The best treatment was POC coconut water 750 ml / l water. The main effect of vermicompost fertilizer dosage was significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment was 150 g / plant vermicompost fertilizer.
