Abstract

Research entitled the effect of POC Banana Bonggol and NPK Grower on the growth and production of mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) 113, KM 11, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The study was carried out from November 2020 to January 2021. The aim of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of POC Banana Bonggol and NPK Grower on the growth and production of mung bean plants. The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is the concentration of POC banana weevil (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 150, 300, 450 ml/l and the second factor is the dose of NPK grower fertilizer (N) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 12, 24, 36 g/ plots. so that 16 combinations are obtained. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications to obtain 48 experimental units (plots). Parameters observed were plant height, relative growth rate of flowering age, number of productive branches, age of harvest, number of pods, percentage of fully filled pods, weight of dry seeds per plant and dry weight of 100 seeds. The data were statistically analyzed and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of POC Banana Weevil and NPK Grower Fertilizer was significant on plant height, LPR 14-21 DAP & 21-28 DAP, flower age, harvest age, number of pods, dry seed weight per plant and dry weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment was the concentration of POC banana hump 450 ml/l and NPK Grower 24 g/plot (P3N2). The main effect of POC banana hump was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment was found at the concentration of POC banana hump 450 ml/l (P3). The main effect of NPK Grower fertilizer was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was found in NPK Grower 24 g/plot (N2) fertilizer.
