Abstract
This study is entitled "The Effect of Fertilizers and NPK Growers on the Results and Production of Tomato Plants (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill)". This research has been carried out in the experimental garden Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jl. Kaharuddin Nasution, KM 11, Pekanbaru City. This research has been carried out for 5 months (August-December) 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of vermicompost fertilizer and NPK Grower on the yield and production of tomato plants. This research uses a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the various doses of Kascing Fertilizer consisting of 4 levels of 0, 120, 240 and 360 g / polybag and the second factor is the various dosages of NPK Grower consisting of 4 levels of 0, 10, 20 and 30 g / polybag so that there are 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, age of harvest, stem diameter, number of planted fruits, weight of fruit per plant and the number of remaining fruit. Data were analyzed statistically and continued at the BNJ test level of 5%. The results showed that the effect of the interaction of vermicompost fertilizer treatment and NPK Grower affected the parameters of plant height, harvest age, stem diameter and fruit weight of the crop, with the best treatment namely vermicompost fertilizer treatment 360 g / polybag and NPK Grower 30 g / polybag (K3N3). The main effect of vermicompost fertilizer treatment affects all parameters, with the best treatment of vermicompost 360g / polybag (K3). The main effect of NPK Grower treatment influences plant height, flowering age, harvest age, stem diameter, weight of planted fruit and the number of remaining fruit, with the best treatment, namely NPK Grower fertilizer 30 g / polybag (N3).
