Abstract
Effect of Banana Weevil POC and NPK 16:16:16 on Production of Pare (Momordica charantia L.). The purpose of this study was to obtain the best mixture of Banana Weevil POC and NPK 16:16:16 on generative growth and production of bitter melon. This research has been carried out in a private garden, Bangkinang Ring Road, Ridan Permai Village, Bangkinang City District, Kampar Regency. This research was conducted for four months from October 2019 to January 2020. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 5 replications, in order to obtain 30 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants as samples, so that a total of 120 plants were obtained. The parameters observed were flowering age, age at first harvest, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length and number of residual fruits. The results showed that the treatment of several mixtures of banana weevil POC and NPK had a significant effect on the parameters of flowering age, first harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length and number of residual fruit per plant bitter melon with the best treatment 100% NPK 16 : 16: 16 + 20% Banana Weevil POC.
