Abstract

Research entitled "Test Concentration of Growtone and POC Banana Weevil on Banana Kepok (Musa paradisiaca) Seedlings with Bump Cleavage Technique", aims to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of Growtone and POC Banana Weevil on Banana Kepok Seedlings ( Musa paradisiaca) With the Cleavage Technique. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City. The study was carried out for four months starting from September to December 2020. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is Growtone Concentration (G), consisting of 4 levels, namely 0 g/l, 2.5 g/l, 5 g/l, and 7.5 g/l. The second factor was POC Banana Bonggol (P), consisting of 4 levels, namely 0%, 15%, 30% and 45% so that there were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, so 48 experimental units were obtained. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 of them were sampled, so the total number of plants was 192 plants. Parameters observed were age of shoot emergence, growth percentage, plant height, number of leaves, stem girth. The data were analyzed statistically and followed by the honest real difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that there was no significant interaction between Growtone and POC of banana weeds on the parameters of age of shoot emergence, growth percentage, plant height, stem girth and number of leaves. The main effect of Growtone was significant on the parameters of age of shoot emergence, growth percentage and number of leaves. The best treatment of Growtone was with a dose of 7.5 g/l water (G3). The main effect of banana weevil poc was real on the parameters of plant height, stem girth and number of leaves. The best treatment of banana weevil POC with a dose of 45% (P3).
