Abstract

This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research has been carried out for 4 months, starting from January to April 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction and main effect of Palm Oil Mill Liquid Waste and Phonska NPK Fertilizer on Okra Plant Growth and Production. The design used in this study was a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first is the factor of giving palm oil mill effluent (L) consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely L0: no treatment, L1:500ml/plot, L2:1000ml/plot, L3:1500/plot. While the second factor is NPK phonska (N) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely N0: no treatment, N1:10g/pot, N2:20g/plot, N3:30g/plot. So there are 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications so there are 48 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants were used as observation samples, so the total number of plants was 192 plants. The results of this study indicate that the interaction between palm oil mill effluent and NPK phonska fertilizer was not significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment is with a dose of 1500 ml/plot (L3). The main effect of the application of Phonska NPK fertilizer was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was at a dose of 30g/plot (N3).
