Abstract
Interior Design deals with the process of planning, arranging, and designing interior spaces in a building, including furniture and their influence. The physical arrangement of the interior in principle must be able to fulfill basic human needs in terms of providing facilities for shelter and shelter. This is in accordance with the objectives of interior design to improve functions, enrich aesthetic values, and enhance the psychological aspects of a room. The purpose of this study is to utilize augmented reality technology as a medium to explain furniture-furniture in 3D form with a dynamic visual display. This application uses the Library and SDK which is capable of displaying 3D furniture objects using markerless tracking techniques in the form of augmented reality. The results of the implementation of augmented reality technology are interior applications that can be run on smartphones with the Android operating system. After testing with black box, the key functions in the application can run well and display the results that match the expected goals. Applications can display 3D furniture objects quickly in less than 1 second during the day and night, inside and outside the room provided that the light intensity is above 1 lux at 0 o to 90 o . After conducting research on applications 95% of the correspondents stated that the criteria were very good, this application could be used as a medium for choosing furniturefurniture.
