Abstract

This research has been carried out in the Mata Naga Farm, Birandang island village, Tambang district, Kampar Riau district. This research was carried out for two months, starting from December 2020 to January 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and main dose of Multi KP fertilizer and stem diameter on the percentage of success of milk grafting on longan plants. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the administration of Multi KP Dosage which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely: 0, 2, 4 and 6 g/plant, the second factor is the selection of Stem Diameter which consists of 3 treatment levels, namely: 0.5 cm, 1 cm and 1, 5 cm. Each treatment consisted of 3 groups so that 36 experimental units were obtained. Parameters observed were cambium recovery time, shoot emergence time, longest shoot length and percentage of milk grafting success. The data were statistically analyzed and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of Multi KP dose and stem diameter had a significant effect on the time parameters of shoot emergence and longest shoot length from longan milk grafting, with the best treatment dose of Multi KP fertilizer 6 g/plant and stem diameter of 1 cm. The main effect of giving Multi KP dose had a significant effect on all observation parameters, with the best treatment being the Multi KP dose of 6 g/plant. The main effect of stem diameter had a significant effect on all observation parameters, with the best treatment being rootstock diameter of 1 cm.
