Abstract

Fash field is a field with the category field that has type of oil is heavy oil field. However, along with the activity of producing oil to the surface, it will be found various problems that cause a decrease in production caused by the emergence of asphaltene, parrafine, and renin. So as to overcome these problems, solvents are used to dissolve the presence of asphaltene, parrafine, and renin as to maximize the production results. In applying this solvent treatment, there are 2 methods used, using coiled tubing and pump. In this study, the success ratio of each method and cut off value are determined. Then, from this cut off determination, the right well candidate can be determined for each method use. To determine the success ratio, the minimum oil gain that must be obtained by coiled tubing is 8 BOPD and for pump is 4 BOPD. It was found that the total success rate was only 124 jobs and the failure rate reached 403 jobs. So, from the solvent treatment that has been done, the failure rate reaches around 76% of the work that has been done. To minimize failures in subsequent solvent treatment, a cut off or threshold value for each parameter contained in the production data is determined so that each well that wants to be treated by solvent using both methods can be on target so as to maximize production results. The cut off value for the used of coiled tubing is based on the parameters of the presence of asphaltene or having an asphaltene content of 2,801%, has water cut of 92,885%, has minimum WHT of 580,84 oF and reservoir temperature of 620,224 oF. For the use of pumps based on parameters it has an asphaltene content of 0,297%, has water cut of 92,612%, has a minimum WHT of 161,034 oF, and a reservoir temperature of 70,875 oF
