Abstract

Indonesia sign language is a system of practical and effective communication for the disabled, deaf deaf developed by Indonesia itself . Indonesia used sign language to communicate between individuals as the same it looks like English in General. The purpose of this research is to make use of more advanced technologies as a medium of instruction Indonesian sign language recognition about introductions . This research is developing applications Introduction to sign language Indonesia with augmented reality as a means to make it easier for people with disabilities, deaf and normal tunawicara to learn sign language Indonesia. These applications use Library MAXST AR SDK is capable of showing 3D motion sign language with markerless techniques in the form of augmented reality. The final results of this research in the form of applications that can be run on Smartphones with android operating system, based on the results of testing against application then known that this application can display an animated sign language movement when Indonesia There is no light and can do tagging locations on the object to display the 3D animation in a uneven surface and not parallel, after assessment of the 93% applications correspondence stating the application is good then this application can be used as a medium to make it easy for normal people, the disabled, deaf and tunawicara to learn sign language Indonesia.
