Abstract
This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, for 5 months from July to November 2020. The purpose of the study was to determine the main interaction and influence of NPK pearls and bokashi kepok banana peel on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of 2 factors, the first factor was pearl NPK fertilizer which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 5, 10, 15 g/plant while the second factor was bokashi banana peel kepok which consisted of 4 treatment levels are 0, 125, 250, 375 g/plant. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of productive branches, weight of planted fruit, number of fruit planted, stem diameter, canopy width, number of fruit residues. The data were analyzed statistically and continued at the BNJ level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of NPK Mutiara and banana peel bokashi kepok gave a significant effect on all observed parameters except plant height. The best treatment was a combination of NPK pearl 16:16:16 15 g/plant and bokashi banana peel kepok 250 g /plant. The main effect of pearl NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was a dose of NPK pearl fertilizer 16:16:16 15 g/plant. The main effect of Kepok banana peel Bokashi was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is a dose of bokashi banana peel kepok as much as 250 g/plant.
