Abstract
Research entitled The Effect of Boiled Chicken and Elements of Molybdenum (Mo) on Growth and Yield of Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merril) under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Hj. Siti Zahrah, MP, the research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the main combination of boiled chicken and Molybdenum (Mo) elements on the growth and production of soybeans (Glycine). max (L.) Merrill). The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is chicken stew (A) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely: 0, 100, 200, and 300 ml per polybag. The second factor is the element Mo (M) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely: 0, 2, 4, and 6 mg per polybag. Each combination consisted of 3 replications so that 48 experimental units were obtained. Parameters observed were plant height, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, number of root nodules, percentage of effective nodules, age of flowering, age of harvest, percentage of pithy pods, weight of dry seeds and weight of 100 seeds. The data were statistically analyzed and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded as follows: the interaction of boiled chicken and Mo has a significant effect on the relative growth rate of 21-28 and 28-35 days, the net assimilation rate of 21-28 and 28-35 days, the number of root nodules per plant, the percentage of effective nodules, dry seed weight per plant and 100 seeds weight, with the best combination treatment, namely giving boiled chicken pieces 300 ml per polybag and Mo element 6 mg per polybag (A3M3). The main effect of boiled chicken water was significant on plant height parameters, relative growth rate of 21-28 and 28-35 days, net assimilation rate 21-28 and 28-35 days, number of root nodules, percentage of effective nodules, flowering age, harvest age, percentage of fully filled pods, weight of seeds per plant and weight of 100 seeds, with the best treatment being given boiled chicken pieces of 300 ml per polybag (A3). The main effect of molybdenum was on the parameters of relative growth rate of 21-28 and 28-35 days, net assimilation rate of 21-28 and 28-35 days, number of root nodules, percentage of effective nodules, flowering age, dry seed weight per plant and weight of 100 seeds. , with the best treatment being the provision of 6 mg molybdenum per polybag (M3).
