Abstract

In the implementation of rigid pavement construction, concrete quality results that do not meet the criteria or specifications are often obtained so that concrete work on rigid pavement experiences cracks or breaks in the concrete even until the work is not accepted. To obtain work results that comply with standards and minimize the occurrence of errors in work, it is very important to implement quality control of work. Quality control aims to determine how well the production is against the requirements in the specifications. This study intends to determine the quality of the concrete from the quality control results of rigid pavement work. The research was carried out by direct observation in the field and collecting laboratory test data, then analyzing by comparing the results of concrete work against the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and acceptance of the quality of concrete based on the General Specifications of Bina Marga 2010 (Revision 3) on a road improvement project located in Mandau District, Riau Province, STA 0 + 000 to STA 4 + 383. The results showed that the quality of concrete reinforcing steel based on the results of the laboratory tensile test met the standards. The Job Mix Formula (JMF) used in the field shows that the slump value meets the criteria. The level of uniformity of the quality of the implementation of the concrete to the results of the flexural strength of the beam shows the standard deviation value with the classification "very good" and the level of variation is included in the classification "best". While the level of uniformity of the quality of the implementation of the concrete to the compressive strength results of the core drill, the standard deviation value is obtained with the classification "acceptable" and the level of variation is included in the "less" category. The flexural strength of the beam samples during execution at each station as well as the average compressive strength of the core drill which has been converted into flexural strength meets the specifications, namely> fs'45 kg / cm2 (4.41Mpa) at the age of >28 days. So that rigid pavement work from the results of the quality of concrete on a road improvement project located in Mandau District, Riau Province, is fully accepted without any reduction in unit prices or total loss.
