Abstract
The research area is in the LKW, Kedah, Malaysia field with coordinates 6 0 22'17 " - 6 0 19'1.5" LU and 99 0 44'55.57 " - 99 0 49'15.48" BT. The study was carried out because of the appearance of a geo - circle on the surface which is thought to be a meteor impact crater because its formation is difficult to explain with the geological structure of the area. The pur pose of this study is to obtain the value of gravity anomalies and determine the subsurface structure in the study area. The research method used is the gravity method. The bouger anomaly values in the study area ranged from 29.8 mGal to 1.2 mGal, region al anomalies valued at 18.7 mGal to 1.8 mGal and residual anomalies worth 11.6 mGal to - 7 mGal. The alignment of subsurface structures has two directions, northwest - southeast and southwest - northeast but most dominant trending northwest - southeast. Based on an analysis of the spectrum of regional anomalous depth limits ± 520 m and residual anomalies ± 257 m. the impact impact of the meteor crater has a diame ter of 1,200 m and a depth of 60 0m, based on the shape of the crater formed by collisions is a simple c rater. The direction of the north - west meteoric impact collision is interpreted from the shape of the asymmetrical crater.
