Abstract

This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City. The time of this research was carried out for 4 months from July 2020 to October 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of lime and rabbit urine on the growth and production of shallot (Allium Ascalonicum L). The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Dolomite Lime (Factor K) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 25, 50, 75 gr/polybag while the second factor is Rabbit Urine (Factor U) consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 30, 45, 60 ml/liter Water was repeated 3 times, so there were 48 experimental units. The results showed that the main effect and interaction effect of lime and rabbit urine was significant on the parameters of the relative growth rate, wet weight of tubers per polybag and dry weight per polybag, but the interaction effect was not significant on the parameters of the number of tubers per polybag and tuber weight loss. Combination The best treatment was (K3U3) dose of lime 75 g/polybag and dose of rabbit urine 60 ml/l. The main effect of real lime on all observation parameters. The best treatment was (K3) lime dose of 75 g/polybag. The main effect of rabbit urine dose was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was (U3) rabbit urine dose of 60 ml/l.
