Abstract
The concept of self is a picture that a person has about himself that is formed through experiences gained from interactions with the environment. Self-concept can arise from high religiosity. This study aims to determine the relationship of religiosity with self-concept in the final year students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University of Riau. The subjects of this study were the final year students of the Islamic Faculty of the Islamic University of Riau. 181 subjects. The subject taking technique used is random sampling. The measuring instrument used is the scale of religiosity and self-concept. The analysis used in this study is Pearson product moment correlation. The results of statistical analysis show the value of r = 0.017 with Sig = 0.117 * (p <0.05), meaning that there is a relationship between religiosity and self-concept in the final year students of the Islamic Faculty of Islamic University of Riau Islamic University. Religiosity contributes 3.1% to self-concept. The rest of 96.9% is influenced by other factors, the higher the religiosity, the higher the self-concept of the final year students of the Islamic Faculty of Islamic University of Riau, and vice versa.
