Abstract

Nande Karo deli Hijau honey water guava farming has several problems, including pests and diseases in plants and problems in marketing that are still not optimal, while the product has a good market opportunity. This study aims to analyze: (1) Characteristics of Entrepreneurs and Workers (2) Use of Production Factors, Production Costs, Income, Efficiency, and Farming Break Event Points, (3) Marketing Institutions and Channels, Margins and Marketing Efficiency of Deli Honey Jambu Water green. This research was conducted in Lubuk Dalam Village, Lubuk Dalam District, from December 2019 to May 2020. The method used in this research is the case study method. Determination of respondents is taken by census. The data analysis in this study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. From the results of the research the characteristics of entrepreneurs and workers, the average age is at the productive age, namely 41 years, education level 9 years, farming experience 14 years and the number of family dependents of 4 people. The land area for the Nande Karo green deli honey water guava farming is 0.5 ha. The number of seeds is 150 stems. Total use of labor in a family of 12 HOK. The total use of fertilizer is 700 kg, the use of pesticides is 2.34 cc, the use of twig scissors is 3 units, the hoe is 3 units and the sprayer is 1 unit. The total cost of farming is IDR 42,340,100 / year. Production of 3,850 kg / year, gross income of IDR 115,500,000 / year, net income of IDR 73,159,900. The green deli green water guava farming is efficient with the RCR value of 2.73. The production BEP is 95.20 kg, the BEP is IDR 1,860,906 / kg, the BEP is IDR 10,997. There are 2 channels of marketing for green deli honey water guava, namely channel I from farmers to collectors traders to retailers to consumers, and channel II from farmers to retailers and then to consumers. The second marketing channel (Ep = 3.66%) is more efficient than the I channel (Ep = 4.61%).
