Abstract

Persepsi Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Pekanbaru pada Gagasan Legalisasi Ganja Medis di Indonesia Risqie Abdillah Jaya (169110118) The cannabis legalization movement in a medical approach is an educational movement that disseminates information about the cannabis plant, the relationship and the use of the cannabis plant for pharmaceutical purposes to the widest possible Indonesian people. Based on the explanation of dr. Widya Murni, as the chief executive of the Indonesian General Physician Association at a private TV station, has divided cannabis into two major groups, namely Hemp & Marijuana. Hemp can be used for medical marijuana and is widely used in industry as well as food because it contains 20%+ CBD (Cannabidiol) and contains less than 0.3% THC (Tetra-hydro-cannabinol) which is non-psychoactive which is useful for epilepsy, osteoporosis, pain. headache, anti-hypertensive, anti-diabetic, lupus, anti-cancer, and anti-pain. The amount of marijuana use is often done by young people, usually using it to increase self-confidence, recreational, and several other reasons. This study wants to see how community groups who agree and disagree perceive the idea of ​​legalizing medical marijuana in Indonesia. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be said that the perception of Pekanbaru Medical Faculty students on the idea of ​​legalizing medical marijuana in Indonesia, overall illustrates that most students have the perception that they agree with the legalization of medical marijuana in Indonesia. This is supported by the latitude dimension of acceptance which is based on 3 items out of 4 statements as a whole is a statement agreeing with this idea.
