Abstract
The use of concrete is one for rigid pavement. Research on concrete is mostly carried out by construction experts including the use of added binder for concrete other than cement. Which consists of portland cement concrete plate and foundation layer on subgrade, because it is the most important factor. of concern in rigid pavement is the strength of the concrete itself. In this research, one of the mineral added materials is used in the form of fly ash, namely AMP fly ash and coal fly ash. This study uses an experimental method with a method that is carried out by conducting experiments directly to obtain a data on the extent to which the quality of two types of fly ash, namely fly ash AMP and fly ash Bara to flexural strength and compressive strength of concrete. For the manufacture of specimens with cylinders and beams using fc '45 MPa. The variations in levels of AMP fly ash and coal fly ash are 1%, 2%, 3% and 4%. From the results of this study on the flexural strength test of Fly Ash AMP. In the AMP fly ash compressive strength test, there was a decrease at each age of the test objects 7, 14, 28, and 56, the more fly ash the compressive strength and flexural strength decreased compared to normal concrete. Furthermore, in testing the compressive strength and flexural strength of Fly Ash Coal at the age of 7 and 14 days of concrete, the compressive strength tends to decrease with each addition of Fly Ash and at the age of 28 and 56 days tends to increase with every variation of the addition of fly ash but is still below the compressive strength of the concrete normal for the flexural strength test at the age of 7, 14, 28 and 56 days there tends to be an increase in each addition of Fly Ash but still below normal concrete. For Fly Ash AMP the highest constant is at the age of 7 days at 3% fly ash and the lowest under 0.75 age 14 days fly ash 4%, age 28 days fly ash 3% and 4%, age 56 days on fly ash 2%, 3% and 4%. The highest constant for Coal Fly Ash is the addition of 4% fly ash at 7 days and the average of Coal Fly Ash constant is above 0.75. Loose material tends to occur at low concrete age, then the older the concrete, the more fracture material is. Of all the specimens starting from normal concrete and the addition of Fly Ash cement paste bonding to normal aggregate concrete is the best compared to the addition of AMP fly Ash and Coal Fly Ash. Form of collapse (form of collapse) at the age of 28 and 56 days More loose material Fly Ash AMP compared to Fly Ash Coal.
