Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of education level and work experience on employee performance at PT. GCI Indonesia in Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method, and the data analysis technique is using multiple linear regression analysis formula. The data collection using a questionnaire with a research sample of 54 respondents, namely employees of the installer at PT. GCI Indonesia in Pekanbaru. The results showed that the education level of the employees was considered good, the work experience of the employees was considered good, and the performance of the employees at PT. GCI Indonesia in Pekanbaru is considered to be good. The results of data analysis can be concluded that partially and simultaneously the level of education and work experience has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. GCI Indonesia in Pekanbaru. The percentage of influence is 53.00%, and the most dominant variable influencing employee performance is the education level variable.
