Abstract

This research has been carried out for three months starting from September - November 2018. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of interaction and main mycorrhizal biofertilizer and KCl fertilizer on the growth and production of shallots. The design that has been used in this study is factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of two factors. The first factor is the administration of Mycorrhizal Biofertilizer (M) which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 125, 250 and 375 g / plot. The second factor is the administration of KCl (K) Fertilizer which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 10, 20 and 30 g / plot. The parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), age of tuber formation (hst), harvest age (hst), number of tubers (fruit), wet tuber weight per clump (g), dry tuber weight per clump (g), and weight loss of tubers (%). Observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with BNJ further testing at the level of 5%. The results showed the interaction of giving mycorrhizal biofertilizer and KCl fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height, age of tuber formation, harvest age, number of tubers, wet tuber weight per clump, dry tuber weight per clump and weight percentage of tuber shrinkage. The best combination of treatment on the administration of mycorrhizal biofertilizer is 375 g / plot and fertilizer KCl 20 g / plot (M3K2). The main effect of giving mycorrhizal biofertilizer was real to all parameters observed, with the best treatment was giving mycorrhizal biofertilizer 375 g / plot (M3). The main effect of giving real KCl fertilizer on plant height, age of tuber formation, harvest age, number of tubers, wet tuber weight per clump, dry tuber weight per clump and weight percentage of tuber shrinkage with the best treatment were giving 20 g KCl fertilizer / plot (K2) .
