Abstract

The study began in July to October 2018. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of interaction as well as the main Trichoderma and monosodium glutamate compost on growth and yield of chicken combs. The research uses Factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 2 factors, the first factor is Trichoderma compost (S) consisting of 4 levels and the second factor is monosodium glutamate (F) consisting of 4 levels so that there are 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications 48 experimental plots. Each experiment consisted of 4 plants and 2 were sampled, so that the whole plant was 192 and the further test used was BNJ at the level of 5%. The results showed the interaction of Trichoderma and monosodium glutamate compost significantly affected the number of flowers, wet weight per plant and weight of flowers per plant, the best treatment was S3F1 (Trichoderma S3 compost = 150 g / polybag and monosodium glutamate F1 = 3 g / polybag), and the main effect of Trichoderma compost has a significant effect on all parameters with S3 best treatment, while the administration of monosoidum glutamate has a significant effect on the number of flowers, wet weight per plant and weight of flowers per plant with the best treatment F1.
