Abstract

This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, for 4 months from July to October 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (CMA) on the growth and production of Green Beans (Vigna radiata L.). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD), where the factors used were the administration of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi consisting of 6 treatment levels, namely: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 g / polybag. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), percentage of pithy pods (%), number of nodules, speed of dry matter accumulation / KPBK (mg / seed / day), effective seed filling time / WPE (days), weight of dry seed planting ( g), and weighs 100 seeds (g). The observational data is then analyzed statistically (Variance Analysis), if F count is greater than F table then it is continued with BNJ test at level 5%. The results of the study stated that the administration of CMA significantly affected the observation of plant height, percentage of pithy pods, number of nodules, speed of dry matter accumulation (KPBK), effective seedling length (WPE), dry seed weight, and weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment for CMA is at a dose of 25 g / polybag.
