Abstract

Research has been carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Street Kaharudin Nasution km 13, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya Subdistrict, Pekanbaru, for 4 months from August to November 2018. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of Palm Oil Mill Waste and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 Towards the Growth and Production of Gelatik Eggplant Plants both in interaction and each main treatment. This study uses Factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 2 factors, where the first factor is Palm Oil Mill Liquid Waste (L) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely L0: without treatment, L1: 100 ml / plot, L2: 200 ml / plot, L3: 300 ml / plot. The second factor NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 (N) consists of 4 levels, namely N0: no treatment, N1: 10 g / plant, N2: 20 g / plant, N3: 30 g / plant. The parameters observed were plant height, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot. the amount of leftover fruit. Observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with BNJ follow-up at the level of 5%. Treatment of Liquid Waste of Palm Oil Mill and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 in an interaction significantly affected the observation of plant height, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, weight of fruit per plant. The best treatment for 300 ml / plot of Palm Oil Mill Liquid Waste and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 30 g / plant (L3N3). The main influence of the Palm Oil Mill Liquid Waste has a significant influence on all observed parameters. The best treatment is 300 ml of Palm Oil Mill Liquid Waste / plot. The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer has a significant influence on all parameters. The best treatment is NPK Mutiara dosage 16:16:16 30 g / plant.
