Abstract

research entitled: "Application of Several Types of Organic Fertilizer and NPK Mutiara Fertilizer 16:16:16 On Celery Plants (Apium graveolens L.)" This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru for four months. starting August 2019. The research objective was to see the interaction effect and the main types of organic fertilizers and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 on celery. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design which consisted of two factors. The first factor is several types of organic fertilizers consisting of 4 types, namely without providing organic fertilizers, cow dung and the second factor is providing NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer which consists of 4 types, namely 0, 0.6 1, 2, 1.8 g / plant. The parameters observed were plant height, number of stems, number of tillers, wet weight, dry weight, root shoot ratio, and root volume. The data obtained were analyzed statistically and the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of organic fertilizer and NPK 16:16:16 was significant on the parameters of plant height, number of stems, number of tillers, wet weight, dry weight, root shoot ratio, and root volume, with the best treatment of compost and NPK 16: 16: 16 dose of 1.2 g / plant. The main effect of giving organic fertilizer affects all parameters with the best treatment of corn compost. The main effect of giving NPK 16:16:16 affects all parameters with the best treatment NPK 16:16:16 dose 1.2 g / plant
